Fluvanna Fire Department marked 100 years of service with a department-wide competition: the 100 Year Games. Five categories, five awards. They came to Mags Custom for the full run.
The Order
The awards split across two product types: UV-printed plaques for the team competition categories and engraved trophies for the individual and specialty awards.
UV-Printed Plaques
The team competition plaques were printed in-house on our UV printer, which deposits full-color ink directly onto the plaque surface. No vinyl, no paper insert, just ink bonded to the substrate. Two categories:
- EMS Squad Champion: Most Proficient EMS Squad
- Fastest Hose Team: Fluvanna Fire Department, 100 Year Games, 2026
Engraved Trophies
Three category trophies used laser-engraved base plates to identify the award and event:
- Chiefs Cup, Best Overall Team: a gold cup trophy for the top-performing team across all events
- Most Productive Rookie: a bronze firefighter figurine for the standout new member
- Fan Favorite: a bronze fire helmet and flame trophy voted on by spectators
UV Printing and Engraving
The plaques were produced on our UV printer. It deposits full-color ink directly onto the plaque surface with no heat and no separate layer on top. The result is a crisp, durable graphic that holds its detail without a frame or protective overlay.
The trophy base plates were laser engraved with the award name, category, department, and year. Clean, sharp, and permanent.
