With more than 185 pieces to organize, consistency mattered. Every size, garment color, print location, hat and tumbler had to stay connected to the same brand while still serving a different purpose for the Whippo Trucking crew.
Full-Color DTF Printing on the Front and Back
The shirts and hoodies were decorated on both the front and back using full-color DTF transfers. The front received a smaller Whippo Trucking logo for a clean workwear look, while the back used a larger truck graphic with more color and detail.
DTF printing was a good fit for this order because it let us keep the same detailed artwork across the District tees, V.I.T. hoodies and Sport-Tek performance shirts. That made it possible to coordinate different fabric types without losing the colors or fine details in the design.
Halftoned Prints for a Lighter, More Breathable Feel
The large back graphics were halftoned before printing. Instead of laying down one heavy solid area of ink, halftoning breaks portions of the artwork into carefully controlled dots. From normal viewing distance, the image still looks full and detailed, but less printed material sits on the shirt.
That helps create the lighter, more flexible and more breathable feel people want from custom work shirts—especially when the design covers a large portion of the back. It also keeps the full-color impact and durability Whippo Trucking wanted for apparel that will be worn regularly.
Richardson 112 Hats with Engraved Leatherette Patches
The Richardson 112 trucker caps gave the custom apparel order another practical option for drivers and crew members. Each cap was finished with an engraved leatherette patch featuring the Whippo Trucking logo. The leather-look finish paired naturally with the trucking artwork and gave the hats a clean, rugged appearance.
Laser-Engraved Polar Camel Tumblers
We also laser engraved the Whippo Trucking logo onto black 20-ounce Polar Camel tumblers. The engraving removes the black exterior coating to reveal the stainless-steel finish underneath, creating a permanent design that will not peel like a decal.
Adding branded drinkware extended the same identity beyond apparel and gave the team something useful that could travel with them every day.
One Consistent Brand Across More Than 185 Pieces
The biggest part of a custom apparel order this size is consistency. Logos need to remain correctly placed, colors need to coordinate and every size and product has to be accounted for. From the small front prints to the large halftoned back graphics, engraved hat patches and Polar Camel tumblers, every piece was produced to feel like part of the same Whippo Trucking collection.
